PHILADELPHIA—Frustrated with the Eagles' last-second 16-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, and with quarterback Donovan McNabb's failure to single-handedly score three touchdowns, prevent two of his teammates from muffing punts, or block any of Green Bay's field goals, thousands of Philadelphia fans demanded that McNabb win an NFL championship for Philadelphia sometime within the next three weeks.

"For the last time: How much longer do we have to wait for McNabb to get off his ass?" Eagles fan Jacob Wilkerson said of the five-time Pro Bowler in one of over 1,500 messages addressed to the quarterback left on the Eagles' voicemail Monday. "Come on McNabb, it's time to finish the job. We've been really lenient up to this point, but it's time to hunker down and throw the ball. If you think you need to take the whole three weeks, that's fine, but we would really like it by next Wednesday."

I've said this 100x before and I'll say it again:

Donovan McNabb is and always was nothing more than an "average" NFL QB. Still great by amateurs standards, but just plain 'ol average by NFL standards. And I'll debate anyone who thinks otherwise!

*Hint to those thinking otherwise - what do you think of one of my old 'favorit' QB's, Kordell Stewart? Their respective career stats are pretty much the same!

Did you know that McNabb just stated that black QB's are under more scrutiny than white ones? It's not that he can't complete passes or scramble well anymore. It's just people being overly critical.

Having said that, living near Philly and watching McNabb on the telly for about 8 years (?), from everything I've seen, he is a class guy all the way. He's a breath of fesh air compared to Tom the Cheater Brady, or Michael Dog Killer Vick, for example.

I am convinced that Andy Reid will someday lead the Eagles to a Superbowl win. But its not going to be with McNabb.

Ive been wanting to get rid of him for atleast two years. But Andy doesnt listen to me for advice. and rightly so.
