* I have no idea how and if other sites are similar or not. I checked a few and they seemed the same, but I ain't checking them all, and nor did I actually go through fully with any of them

So yesterday was the first day that New Yorkers could get an appointment for 50+ age. It took me like 2 hours just to figure out how to figure it all out. And then after filling a few things out and qualifying, it sent me to the list of locations all over New York.

And you can click on the closest one all you want, but you get to that location and there are no appointments available!

Just keep hitting F5 to refresh and eventually a short list will appear. And fill out QUICKLY or it's gone.

But better yet, when the appointments do appear, it's a list of them. Blindly and quickly just scroll down the page and click one towards the bottom that others aren't even scrolling to. Then quickly fill out and done!

I did that and my appointment was for May 31. So I tried again, I was bored. I got a 2nd appointment for April the 23rd, and then went and clicked and canceled the first appoint. So I moved up a month or more!

Unless of course you ain't getting the vaccine, and in that case just ignore everything I just wrote! :)

Delaware has state-run big events at Dover Downs speedway (the “Monster Mile”), and Russ is on a waiting list for one of those now that 50+ are eligible. He already was able to make an appointment for Saturday at a local pharmacy, too, but he has to work. Delaware definitely has handled this very well for a while now. But it’s gotta be easier when you are a small state.

Oh yeah, the Monster Mile and Jimmie Johnson!! Hell, I just want the trophy the winner gets, thing looks sweet!

Here's the outside of the place, of which I don't need to point out to you guys...

And the awesome trophy!!

And they insert a new car for each winner at the last minute, so here's Jimmie with one of his trophies, of which he won a record 11 times!! So I think he should share...

I’ve never been to a race, but I do know how huge it is and how it looks inside. We went to see Dennis Miller at the adjacent casino, and our room overlooked the stands. It looked like it would be very exciting to go to a race there.

Russ has a vaccine appointment there this Sunday. I’m so glad. Now we need to get our daughter vaccinated, and we are all good to go for our trip to Bermuda in May.

PS JJ is pretty darn handsome

Yup, kinda have to if you're traveling anywhere this year, via plane.
