I don't trust this woman. She wanted to quickly tie any outbreaks/deaths on states reopening and/or people not getting the vaccine. This was before any of that even happened. It was simply a plan to to lie to the people and dictate how things went.

WHO says Covid pandemic is growing ‘exponentially’ at more than 4.4 million new cases a week

The WHO said the trajectory of the pandemic is now “growing exponentially” at more than 4.4 million new Covid-19 cases.
Maria Van Kerkhove, the agency’s technical lead for Covid-19, said “we’re in a critical point of the pandemic.”
“This is not the situation we want to be in 16 months into a pandemic where we have proven control measures,” she said.

The World Health Organization said Monday the trajectory of the coronavirus pandemic is now “growing exponentially,” with more than 4.4 million new Covid-19 cases reported over the last week.

Maria Van Kerkhove, the agency’s technical lead for Covid-19, said “we’re in a critical point of the pandemic,” as some countries ease restrictions even as new cases per week are more than eight times higher than a year ago.

“This is not the situation we want to be in 16 months into a pandemic where we have proven control measures. It is the time right now where everyone has to take stock and have a reality check of what we need to be doing,” she said during a press briefing. “Vaccines and vaccinations are coming online, but they aren’t here yet in every part of the world.”

COVID In Colorado: Health Officials Warn Of ‘Fourth and Final Wave’ Affecting Younger People

DENVER (CBS4) – Just as Colorado was given its first dose of hope at COVID-19 restrictions being fully lifted, Gov. Jared Polis said a fourth wave of COVID-19 cases has arrived in the state. Cases are drastically increasing as of late, specifically among younger Coloradans.

Those between the ages of 18 and 50 are the ones causing the spike in positive coronavirus cases in Colorado during this past week.

“This increase is of great alarm,” Polis said. “We identified 1,935 new positive cases yesterday. That is the highest it has been in a long time.”

Polis said older Coloradans, specifically those over the age of 50, are seeing a flat line or decrease in COVID-19 cases. He directly attributed that to the strong turnout for vaccinations. As for those in younger age groups, Polis said they are now at risk of getting new varients of the virus which are showing more likelihood of severe reactions. Polis said most younger people infected will survive, but some will not make it out of the hospital.

CDC director: Answer to Michigan COVID-19 surge is "to close things down"

Michigan can't vaccinate its way out of a COVID-19 spike, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Rochelle Walensky said at a briefing Monday, during which she called on the state "to close things down."

Why it matters: Michigan's average daily case count has jumped about seven times from a low point in February, per the New York Times. It's a reality check for the nation, CNN writes.

What she's saying: "When you have an acute situation, an extraordinary number of cases like we have in Michigan, the answer is not necessarily to give vaccines — in fact, we know the vaccine will have a delayed response," she said.

"The answer to that is to really close things down, to go back to our basics, to go back to where we were last spring, last summer ... to flatten the curve, to decrease contact with one another, to test to the extent that we have available, to contact trace."
Shutting things down is imperative, she said. "If we tried to vaccinate our way out of what is happening in Michigan, we would be disappointed that it took so long for the vaccine to work, to actually have the impact," she added.

The big picture: Michigan public officials have called on the Biden administration to increase vaccine supply to the state.

The White House said on Monday it is prepared to send additional therapeutic treatment to the state, per Reuters.

The physicians who have bravely stepped forward to share how "THEY WERE TOLD, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAUSE OF DEATH YOU CAN PINPOINT AT THE AUTOPSY...Just say it's COVID."

I wonder how many of those are regular Flu cases they mistake/combine-on-purpose-for-drama-demands-for-power?

I am 100% convinced that many flu cases were listed as covid-19 cases. Many people were likely admitted to the hospitals for $$. In fact, I believe that there were more this way than any other thing, and it was/is still about the money.

Yes, then many things abused for pure and simple power.

Many things decided and pushed out there for political/election reasons. Especially the fear porn on all of the major media stations. The worse things they can make the better chance of it harming Trump.

And then how many died of clearly other reasons and yet listed as covid deaths? Proven heart issues, motorcycle accident, fall off a ladder... I don't want to look it up again but so many people were improperly listed. And then a few scandals about coroners changing things up a tad.

The physicians who have bravely stepped forward to share how "THEY WERE TOLD, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAUSE OF DEATH YOU CAN PINPOINT AT THE AUTOPSY...Just say it's COVID."

And so so so many physicians and nurses coming forward with decisions that were made and showing that much abuse was taking place. And what you point out often happened at the coroners.
