Private business has right to refuse service. However, it's interesting how this country is creeping toward the Chinese equivalent to social credit scores to function in society. This is Capitalism vs Corporatism.

Fascism is back big time . Nazi big bully- boy tactics .

World War 3 has been in progress some time behind the scenes and the enemy are baring their teeth in desperation as we move to some sort of climax .

What exactly are they signalling because in itself it is meaningless ? --- Flynn will be looked after without hesitation .

Can you actually discuss anything? Or only write little made up tidbits in every thread about Trump? Can you explain your thoughts in paragraph form so maybe it makes more sense?

The crap comes from the Trump and trumpers, with a lot of it kicked out of them in 2020. And Flynn can live in the gutter.

Much more is going to happen next year. Trumperism is finished.

In fairness young Jane may not have English as her first language .

She edited both her posts in this thread even though they are very short --- the first stopped after ten easy words .But she is trying !! In more ways than one .

I think we should encourage newcomers particularly if they are trying to gain experience of interaction and to find the right way to say that difficult first 'hello' .

Who knows ? She may be fresh through the southern border and still thinking dear old Sleepy is someone to thank and be grateful for .She does not yet know he is a silly

gringo sausage .

I am guessing from her name that she might be a Mexican young lady , perhaps struggling with young kids , no man and lots of bills .

So good luck with the English, Jane , and your new adopted home .

The Trumpers are bumbling and stumbling, whining and pining, sighing and crying, asking 'why do facts and truth matter when it is only our feelings that count.'

The truth and facts are that you guys s*** in the corner and then cry when you get hammered down. You can't take it what you so poorly try to hand out, then you whine about it  when you are held to account.

Your time is over. You failed. You are not coming back to power.

`Trump Derangement Syndrome Proves Liberalism is a Mental Disorder`

https://citizentruth.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/trump_derangement_syndrome.jpg

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a debilitating disease ravaging the left. It has become a widespread epidemic.

Liberals have become unhinged, and their actions have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that liberalism is a mental disorder......

Democratic politicians and liberal talking heads on TV continue to shriek their hatred of President Trump, standing for nothing other than stark opposition to the Donald.

Who knows what they stand for these days, outside of open borders, bigger government, single-payer healthcare, and “free” tuition. It’s all framed in their fruitless #Resistance strategy that paints Trump as Hitler and his supporters as Nazis. "

If this is true, it's exposing even more of what a lot of "conspiracy theorist" have always said.

the world is run by an oligarchy of Corporations and uber rich.
And at this point they are showing their hands more and more.

Big Banks/wall st, Big Pharma, the Military/Intel Complex, Big Ag, and Big Oil, they are the primary movers of Politics, major Media and Academics of the western nations.
It's not Fascism or Socialism it's the Western Oligarchy. They don't give a crap about "capitalism" or socialism or democrat or republican or religion.
What they do seem to care about is money and power.
And playing the nations and people in the nations against each other to maintain their dominance.
And No they aren't in absolute control... and they are not micro-managing everyone.
It's more like they tilt the tables everyone else is moving on.

Conservatives hate to mess with corporations though.
Is it time to bust the banks?
Is it time regulate the banks?
BUT BUT BUT that's "Socialism!"
A republic can't last if the corporations and/or the gov't have the power over the people's action. Period.
our Banking, Communications, Health, Food, Education, Transportation.
What part of our lives can't Corporations CUT OFF or FORCE us into without a real way of redress?

While I disagree that the world is run_____Fill in the Blank____. The role of government, regulators, what-have-you, is to make sure that the essence of capitalism is not corrupted IMO. Who's votes Count? who really runs the gov't?
Drawing on the same extensive evidence employed by Gilens in his landmark book “Affluence and Influence,” Gilens and Page analyze 1,779 policy outcomes over a period of more than 20 years. They conclude that “economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence.”
Average citizens have “little or no independent influence” on the policy-making process? This must be an overstatement of Gilens’s and Page’s findings, no?
Alas, no. In their primary statistical analysis, the collective preferences of ordinary citizens had only a negligible estimated effect on policy outcomes, while the collective preferences of “economic elites” (roughly proxied by citizens at the 90th percentile of the income distribution) were 15 times as important. “Mass-based interest groups” mattered, too, but only about half as much as business interest groups — and the preferences of those public interest groups were only weakly correlated (.12) with the preferences of the public as measured in opinion surveys..

Former president Jimmy Carter said Tuesday on the nationally syndicated radio show the Thom Hartmann Program (http://www.thomhartmann.com) that the United States is now an “oligarchy” in which “unlimited political bribery” has created “a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors.” Both Democrats and Republicans, Carter said, “look upon this unlimited money as a great benefit to themselves.”
Carter was responding to a question from Hartmann about recent Supreme Court decisions on campaign financing like Citizens United.
Transcript:
HARTMANN: Our Supreme Court has now said, “unlimited money in politics.” It seems like a violation of principles of democracy. … Your thoughts on that?
CARTER: It violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president. And the same thing applies to governors and U.S. senators and congress members. So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over. … The incumbents, Democrats and Republicans, look upon this unlimited money as a great benefit to themselves. Somebody’s who’s already in Congress has a lot more to sell to an avid contributor than somebody who’s just a challenger.
https://theintercept.com/2015/07/30/jimmy-carter-u-s-oligarchy-unlimited-political-bribery/

If you Don't like Carter
Here's a few other former Presidents:
"We are free today substantially, but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. It will be an impossibility because wealth will be concentrated in the hands of a few. A Republic cannot stand upon bayonets, and when the day comes when the wealth of the nation will be in the hands of a few, then we must rely upon the wisdom of the best elements in the country to readjust the laws of the nations to the changed conditions."
James Madison

There is an evil which ought to be guarded against in the indefinite accumulation of property from the capacity of holding it in perpetuity by...corporations. The power of all corporations ought to be limited in this respect. The growing wealth acquired by them never fails to be a source of abuses.
James Madison

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country... corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
Abraham Lincoln

The money power preys on the nation in times of peace, and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces, as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes.
Abraham Lincoln

All who wish to hand down to their children that happy republican system bequeathed to them by their revolutionary fathers, must now take their stand against this consolidating, corrupting money power, and put it down, or their children will become hewers of wood and drawers of water to this aristocratic ragocracy.
Andrew Jackson

there are more presidents and government officials even a few wealthy people that have WARNED about the powers of banks, corporations and the Uber Rich.
What they warned about is HERE. right now.
Along with a "standing army" and -too many laws- all built up around "crisis".
But the control is not absolute or completely unchecked… yet.
But if enough people don't realize the problem it will never be rectified. Just a bunch of beating the bushes about capitalism! socialism! fascism! left! right! gov't bad! gov't good! White people! Black people! immigrants! while the oligarchs sit largely undisturbed and creating a smaller and smaller range of freedoms and wealth for everyone else using their combined powers of the corporations and gov't against us all.

But hey, people are very emotional about their left right POVs. It's the way they see the world. But trying to shoehorn what i'm talking about into left right categories don't work. But sure people can fight about that stuff... but only AFTER the powers are taken BACK from the hands of the oligarchs, who don't really give a damn about it.

I don't think it should be shoehorned but I do think small government is the key. Look at the Gilded Age, there were genuine innovators who got stupid rich and you got people who gamed the system via laws, regulations, and influence to get stupid rich. One is good and one is not.

I agree, Small government is Good.
But the question is who the government really represents.
And a gov't big enough to regulate people with excess wealth that is Public influence.

there's no perfect solution, but oligarchy is it's own horror show.

Trump said.
“When you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do.”
“You’d better believe it,” “If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I’ve given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.”
“I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And you know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them, and they are there for me.” He added, “And that’s a broken system.”

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., had stated that Trump “buys and sells politicians of all stripes.”

Trump said that the U.S. healthcare system is badly-designed because “the insurance companies … have total control of the politicians” with which they’re “making a fortune.”

I'm not one who worries about oligarchies depending on how an oligarchy comes about as I mentioned in my previous post. The House should represent the people and the Senate should represent the states. If you can't trust elected officials to not create laws that benefits certain groups then you can't trust elected officials to not succumb to influence.
