We have a Cuisinart with four slots. Simple but works well. I don't think it was all that expensive either.

I'm an appliance collector. :) Some things are just made to be simple. I picked up a 4 slice Farberware with bagle setting, I think around $40 when I moved to Sedona. Still working fine.

Now if you bought toaster oven/air fryer, that's a whole different story.

I don't really know whtat the bagel setting does nor how to put the bagel in when I used the bagel setting.
