Or at least one way NOT to do it!

I ordered some compound W from Amazon but stupid me couldn't wait 48 hours, so I tried something in the mean time.

You can just take a can of compressed air and turn it upside down and then blast it out, it comes out and freezes anything, including a wart! But the medication will be much much more concentrated on a smaller area. I blasted it and apparently it's the size of about a half dollar.

I noticed this morning that it had a large red circle around it from being a dummy.

And then by mid-day it started blistering. So do yourself a favor and don't repeat my mistakes, of which I make often. :coffee: Good news is that it will still likely be gone in about 10-14 days or so.

I hope you are not in too much discomfort.

The easiest way to use compressed air is to turn upside down, wait a few seconds, then blast on to q-tip swabs, then use them gingerly on the wart.

However, jimnyc, there is no question that your way works, too.

We can ALL just totally IGNORE Jake the wart, and it will dissolve into a festering blister on the Behind of Sleepy Joe's DEPENDS.

Hey Jim .. next time tape off the area around the wart to expose only that area you want to blast.

I go to my dermatologist to get rid of those things. Easier than self application.

What happens when you do things incorrectly!

Not good a week or so later!

And now getting better. Skin falling off and the white circle area is/was the wart.

Omg Jim!
Glad it is on the mend

Out at the lodge we used to use crazy glue. One dab on the head as often as took to kill it.

Damn, crazy glue? Never heard of that but gonna try if it comes back!

I also now have the compound W which will concentrate the area too.

I used stick matches. Superglue wasn't invented yet. First thing I learned with my first tube of superglue is not to put it in your pocket. Old school tubes were made of some soft metal that would break. Glued my pocket to my leg :)

Stick match: light it, blow it out, immediately put the head on the wart (not the rest of your damned hand). Repeat until it's below skin level. I should point out I have an extremely high tolerance for pain and little to no tolerance for dr's.

Compound W never worked for me. I CAN suggest you let your hand heal first, then don't get it on the skin around the wart.

Geez. You burned half your f-ing hand off ..:slap:

Since it was invented, and given more strength. Even Doctors and Emergency Rooms, and Operating ROOMS use it to close open wounds, cuts, and scratches.

Used as directed. IT REALLY WORKS, and it doesn't carry any harmful chemicals that might infect.

So the only way a wart gets oxygen is the external surface it gets none inside from you until it gets so big it takes over a blood vessel. So basically you just need to starve it of O2.
Freezing or burning or chemically coating in some way cuts the air supply, I prefer the least painful method of crazy glue. When the glue sluffs off add more glue.

Side note silver would really help with that healing and silver is one of the best natural anti viral/ anti microbial disinfectants.
