Probably going to run on a platform of no gambling and no prostitution. That ought to work

Dean Heller, a former Nevada senator, officially launched a bid for governor in the state. He announced his candidacy Monday, joining the crowded field of Republicans vying to unseat Democrat Steve Sisolak.
Heller reentered the political field three years after losing his Senate seat in 2018. In his campaign launch video, the Republican said he’s fed up with mask mandates, lockdowns and efforts to defund the police. Heller went on to say he’s sick of seeing abortion clinics open while churches and schools are closed.

Six other Republicans have already entered the race, including North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee and Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo.

We will be moving to a place we own in Nevada next month.

The GOP primaries are going to be interesting.

The democratic senator, Masto, has not screwed up (yet).

What Gunny knows about Nevada: It's that gambling and prostitution state up to the left on a map. When I was stationed in SoCal, Laughlin was to the right on the map. :)

Nevada has state-wide gambling, and two counties permit prostitution.

Heller will yell about prostitution because as a Republican he has to do so to keep the evangelical vote.

The Dem will stroke the unions, the minorities, and the women.

During October of 2022 I hope to be at Allegiant Field for football games.
