I don’t know, maybe it’s because our current President is so incredibly pathetic, but I’ve been thinking lately that Bill Clinton was actually a pretty effective President. Yes, he had some character flaws for sure, and integrity was not his strong suit. But he did put some long-needed brakes on Welfare. And it was actually the wifey who was pushing for Universal Healthcare.

I also think he was our last centrist Democrat President. Don’t they just get worse all the time? Perhaps we will look back fondly on Obama, now that we have Biden.

Thoughts?

Clinton annoyed me because he took money from the military budget, wouldn't give it back, while increasing our operations. He also jacked taxes on everything he could think of. He got us involved in Yugoslavia's civil war and loaned our forces out to the UN and put them under UN control.

And he just lied about any and everything like a little kid. Half the time the truth would've sounded better. The infamous redefining "sex" was an eye-roller for sure.

I have to agree though, Obama and Biden make him look centrist by comparison.

Polling shows that a majority of voters know His Fraudulency Joe Biden lied about Afghanistan and now want him to resign over that fiasco.

I think most of his "success" was signing what the Republican Congress sent him. :saluting2: Sometimes it took a few times like welfare reform was sent multiple times IIRC.
