Another Captain Obvious looking to get his name on Page 1. Even though he is correct. I'm glad to see the progressives are f-ing over the rank and file Dems like the little children holding their breath until they get their way that they are. The Dems deserve them. They should have smacked their asses into place from the start.

I'm fine with the $3.5t bill going nowhere. I've been trying to figure out how the next President is going to have to waste time tearing it apart a piece at a time.

UPDATED 4:47 PM PT – Sunday, October 3, 2021Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) slams Joe Biden for failing to rally the Democrat Party as they continue arguing over passing legislation. During an interview on Sunday, Barrasso thought Biden would help negotiate between progressive and moderate Democrats, but instead “surrendered to the radical wing of his party.
Certain Democrats are currently holding hostage the bipartisan infrastructure bill unless an agreement can be made on the $3.5 trillion spending package. Barrasso added Democrats are “driving the bus and Joe Biden is just along for the ride,” due to his ongoing failures while in office.
During an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, senior White House Advisor Cedric Richmond said the White House is fully committed to passing both the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the reconciliation package.
“People will be disappointed, people will not get everything they want, that is the art of legislating, but the goal here is to get both bills,” said Richmond during the interview.

Both Democrat Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.) have been vocal about lowering the price of the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package with Manchin stating he wouldn’t support anything over $1.5 trillion. Meanwhile, Democrats recently delayed a vote on the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill with Sinema calling the move “inexcusable and completely disappointing.”
Additionally, Republicans continue to say there’s a different agenda behind the large partisan spending package.
“Democrats are on the march to big socialism. They have the House. They have the Senate. They have the White House,” said Barrasso. “This is blowout spending on a scale that we really haven’t seen before in this country. Every Republican is against it because of the permanent damage it would do to our economy, to our country, so all of the things are linked together.”
In the meantime, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has stated the infrastructure bill, whose vote had been delayed, would need to be approved before the end of October as highway funding legislation will soon expire. Furthermore, it seems Democrats will continue to rack up arguments as talks are still continuing over the spending package.

If the Sleepy 'era' is effectively over now and quite likely literally by this time next month , does it really matter ?

Surely of greater interest will be the clear - out from both parties of the treasonous and ultra corrupt .

Then you could start to deploy some of the wasteful War Effort funds into real infrastructure modernisation .

You know for example that your marines have achieved zero wins in the last few decades . A perfect opportunity for them to now start doing positive and constructive things .

The progs on the left are doing what the Tea Party congressional members were doing to the GOP leadership.

We are having tails wag the dogs.
