There's no doubt that what has transpired by the revelations of the whistle-blower have confirmed some of what has been suspected for many years regarding social media. Likewise There's also no doubt that has been revealed has been presented in a way to make revelations that would further restrict free speech, something that has long been a goal of the social media controllers.

There's no reason that some of brighter lights on committees can't use what has been revealed, orchestrated or not, to really force sunshine and re-open communications for all, while focusing any regulations on the vulnerable, like under aged. As has been discussed over the past few days elsewhere, if the social media can vet "celebrities" they can do so with underage and predators.

SM platforms, left or right or indifferent, will interfere with speech, yes.

However, the question is this: is there 'free speech' rights on private platforms?

However, the question is this: is there 'free speech' rights on private platforms? There are not. It IS however an issue of responsibility that needs to be addressed. The internet has turned into the National Enquirer when it comes to access to truth/fact. Bad enough the platform is deciding what we can and cannot see. Add every Tom, Dick, and Harry's version on social media, and nobody knows WTF the truth is.

Seems there are a LOT of people out there that cannot differentiate between their opinion and fact.

Proof of total idiocy in a single sentence .

" Private Platforms " .

Show me one . It's what is known as an Oxymoron , Moron .

So you are admitting that you are a fascist, that government and social media are working hand in hand?

Or is SM out of control?

Or do you have a clue?
