Yes, this happened:

First off, disregard my dusty computer and other things on messy desk.

But you see my nemesis there. And he is bigger than you think, and I am backed up and zoomed in a little.

Just as he reached the flat area of my desk I stopped, as I was about to crush him to death. I missed! Little fucker is now under my computer!!!!

And now looking up common spiders found in NY:

Then I lookup images also of Wolf spiders:

Almost positive that's what it was. Not venomous but is poisonous like all of them, and they say it bites and it bites hard!!

So for now?

Handy dandy spider zapper:

And in an emergency, which this is of course, I also have a large can of hairspray and a few lighters, but would rather not ignite my computer - yet.

OMG ... leave it alone. It's eating all the other bugs in your house. Even if it bites you it is like a mosquito bite. Put anti itch cream on it and go about your day!

Expose it to radiation, then let it bite you...

As Sassy said. They eat other insects that bother us even more. By the way Jim, and all.

Those eight legged things have been around longer than all of us combined, and they just never stop increasing. BUT...you have to remember. WE are much bigger than they are too!
So here's something to think about...NOT SCARE EVERYONE. But someone (a scientist I think) once said. Everywhere a human goes...there is usually a SPIDER within TEN FEET of you. So tiny you can't see them, and big ones like the one you showed us.
BEST PLACE TO BE???? JOIN THE NAVY!:laugh::laugh:

So where'd that :flameth:"wart remover" you had go? You cooked half your wrist off with it. Seems to me it ought to work on a bug. Just sayin

My wife couldn't care less and called me a baby! She said same as Gunny, freeze the little bastard like my hand!

They definitely give me the willies. I know I'm much bigger and generally a piece of cake in a battle with them. But those little fuckers have eyesight 1000x better than ours, usually can jump, they sneak up on you quietly...

How many you know got bit trying to kill one? How many people you hear about getting bit by finding them in their shoes or them not even knowing it happened or was about to happen. They are sneaky little you know what's.

I AM tempted to remove and clean everything with a vaccuum, but they do kill other bugs and they really don't want to come after me. But I do NOT want to see them! LOL I see him again, we got serious issues and he will have the whole battalion come down on him!!

Always have a 6-pack of air near me at all times. Got OCD about spraying my keyboard for any and all specs of dust!!

Believe that is just healing now? And still not 100% sure it even fully killed the wart, but feels like I did. :)

My wife would have followed the thing around for a week, happy how pictures of it would be popular on Instagram.
