I think its a pretty good idea. we just annouce we are doing it and they will drop the oil prices significantly. If we actually back up our words with actions and start doing some if, they will remain down permenantly.
The idea of energy independence for the United States scares the middle east. They will have to drop their prices if they think we are ever going to try to be energy independent.
Of course, Democrats will never let that happen.
