What a dumbass.

Watch the video on the site. Now he's claiming he never pulled the trigger.

He's been a liar and scumbag for a long time IMO.

Alec Baldwin’s Unbelievable Claim About His Negligent Homicide

In a new interview with George Stephanopoulos, Alec Baldwin insists he did not pull the trigger. NONSENSE!! That is a lie. Here’s the ABC teaser:

(at site)

The gun that Baldwin fired is a period revolver (you can read my original post about the pistol here)–F. Lli Pietta 45 Long Colt Revolver. You must open the loading gate to access the cylinder to load a cartridge. You then must cock the hammer manually, otherwise, it will NOT fire. Once the hammer is cocked then only slight pressure on the trigger will release the hammer and initiate the firing cycle.

[Note–There is a way to fire this revolver without cocking the trigger–you hit the hammer on the spur with a club of some sort and that can cause the firing pin to ignite the primer. But the point remains–this gun cannot be fired “accidentally.” It does not fire itself.]

Nothing is going to change the actual facts of the case, so he can lie all he wants. The gun expert will testify and they will have others testify as to safety and how guns are handled on set. Then they will likely point out the obvious that guns pretty much don't go off without a finger on the trigger. And they rarely kill other people when not pointed at them.

He was wrong, no 2 ways about it that I see. He's now looking for sympathy, but he himself has already left such a bad taste in folks mouths that they have none for him. That and the facts anyway.

Oh, that's right. The BOOGY MAN was on the set at the same time. So Baldwin is a Hollyweirdo...so the 9TH CIRCUS court in Ca. will defend him since MOVIE STARS from the Planet BULLSHEET never have to answer for their lawbreaking, lies, or STUPIDITY???

something for people to think about.

remember Daunte Wright?
the police officer THOUGHT she had a taser... killed him.
many folks on the right had all this sympathy for her, and all cops everywhere because of her "mistake". And didn't think she should be charged with much of anything but an accidental discharge.
Even adding a solid dollop of blame on Dante Wright for "resisting"
(the logic seems to be , If untrained fearful 'civilians' would just do everything perfectly correct in all police encounters, then the well trained and over armed cops wouldn't kill so many people! of course! Or maybe, if all 'civilians' knew how to obey every law and understood that police will kill you for any real or perceived "disobedience" to random orders. they'd be killed less.)

I'm not sure why trained police officers get all the benny of the doubt in the world to the point of spreading blame the dead victims. (idol worship?) But it is what it is.

Look all I'm saying is that maybe the actress was resisting, i don't know, i wasn't there, neither were any of you. Being an Actor is a stressful job.
I know he should have been more responsible but... in the heat of the moment... accidents happen right. tragic but it comes with the job. People having guns pointed at them on set should be more on guard and help check the weapons. Accidents like this wouldn't happen so much I'm sure.
Poor Alex Baldwin, and People hate actors so much nowadays.

Why charge him for a crime when MORE WELL TRAINED cops get away with it?
With sympathy and condolences to the cops and not the victims family

For anyone to honestly make such a comparison between a professional (Police Officer) doing their duty, and an Actor whose daily stress levels must be a real challenge to his or her Beauty Sleep is disgusting, unfair, unreasonable, and generally STUPID AS HELL.

Imaging the STRESS LEVELS of putting your life in danger EVERY DAY or playing a PRETEND person who must suffer the slings and arrows of a Director yelling ACTION or CUT IT!

With sympathy and condolences to the cops and not the victims familyYou're trying to stretch this one too far, Rev. Two completely different scenarios. One involves a perceived threat and response; the other, handling a lethal weapon in a careless, and irresponsible manner. The police officer in question was acting in the line of duty while Baldwin was being stupid.

What Baldwin is getting "extra" heat for is he is the quintessential, Hollyweirdo, leftwingnut actor living above the law in la-la land, behind security gates, railing against the right, guns, violence, etc, while living that life from selling guns, violence, war, etc.

Can't charge anyone with being a hypocrite. And somebody DID die. Our society requires blame be placed and legal revenge exacted, when applicable.
