Seems to me the deputy shot the wrong animal.

A sheriff’s deputy in Florida shot and killed a zoo tiger Wednesday after it severely injured a man who attempted to feed and pet the animal.
“This evening after the Naples Zoo had closed for the day a member of a a [sic] third-party cleaning service contracted by the zoo suffered serious injuries when he entered an unauthorized area near a tiger that was inside its enclosure,” the Collier County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/colliersheriff/posts/284553983697380).
According to the sheriff’s office, the cleaning service was only meant to clean bathrooms and the gift shop, and the man was not allowed to access the area near the Malayan tiger’s enclosure.

people can be very stupid

I was in a Georgia swamp years ago that had a raised walking deck that stretched deep inside the swamp.
at one point during the walk we see about 7 adult crocodiles just laying motionless on a dirt flat below us and about 50 ft away.
a crowd gathers and this one idiot with a beer tries to arouse them by making noise then starts to climb off the raise deck down to the ground. And just before his foot hit the earth one of the Crocs made snapping turn and growled.
The idiot regained his sense just before he lost his footing and managed to climb back up with the help of his friends before crocs made any more moves.

I've never understood why people want to test wild animals.
do they think they are Tarzan or Snow White or something?

do they think they are Tarzan or Snow White or something? We take animals out of their habitat and keep them in cages for people to gawk at. Then, when the animal acts like an animal because people are being stupid, they always kill the animal. The human is supposed to be the one that is intelligent enough to follow the rules.

The tiger was following his rules. The idiot clearly wasn't following anyone's.

Same as the idiot you speak of and the alligator. IMO, let nature take its course. Might wake up some of the oblivious and have them reconsider their choices.

I heard or read something the other day. Remove all warning labels from everything and let Darwinism thin the herd.
