More desperation from the Dems. They're banking they're whole lot on allowing anything that breathes to vote, assuming they are going to vote Dem. I'd be thinking twice was I a Dem and not living in a bubble where everything is hunky dory. If they take half the beating in 2022 they should get but Trump is screwing up, they'll be crying like babies if the republicans manage to accomplish something and make some kind of move forward.

UPDATED 8:23 AM PT – Friday, January 7, 2022Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) said hypocrisy on the left is on full display as they push to cancel the filibuster. He slammed Democrats for opposing its elimination when Republicans were in control of Congress, but pushing for it now.
In a statement on Wednesday, the senator from South Dakota pointed out Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) previously said killing the filibuster would be a mistake.

Schumer is now calling to eliminate the filibuster to jam through the so-called voting rights bill by a simple majority. Republican senators have said the Democrat-backed H.R.1 bill (https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/1) would federalize U.S. elections and enable universal mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting and other practices.
Thune said Democrats want to change the rules to get their way. He warned rewriting the rules of the Senate would have dire consequences.

Thune suggested Democrats should end the political games and get back to working with Republicans on issues that are relevant to Americans.

Then there's Sinema, Manchin, and reportedly more that will not go along.

Then there's Sinema, Manchin, and reportedly more that will not go along.Call me crazy, but I barely have any faith in Manchin and about none in Sinema.

IMO, there should be more concern on the left than 2 people. That's alarming.
