THIS idiot is EXACTLY why I was for Federal takeover of elections when some normal-thinking persons were in charge. Whether or not you agree with it. it's the same as my call for the Republicans to handle DACA. If the GOP does not, fruitloops like this moron are eventually going to.

I DO believe the Federal government should oversee and control elections for Federal office. That's kind of a "duh", no-brainer to me and has nothing to do with States' Rights. You don't go down the chain of command and let the kids run the candy store. You don't leave it unattended for idiots to take over either.

Clyburn shouldn't be allowed to hold office as a janitor in a Federal building. Racist POS.

Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., defended federal involvement in elections (https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/elections), citing Alexander Hamilton while claiming election loss "cannot be left up to the states."
This week marked one year since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot (https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/capitol-protests) that occurred on the day that Congress set to certify President Biden (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden)’s win in the 2020 election over former President Donald Trump (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/donald-trump). The controversy around the post-election days focused on Trump’s efforts to challenge election losses in key states, including Georgia where State Secretary Brad Raffensperger famously rebuffed the then-president’s effort to find more votes.
The dispute revived a long-standing argument over the role of federal officials in elections that some believe should remain entirely under the control of local and state officials.

But Clyburn believes that federal officials know exactly what they are doing, and they should retain their roles in such elections.

"I am a federal official, but I understand very well how federal elections are run," Clyburn argued on "Fox News Sunday." "Most people who are now serving at the federal level have at one time served in some capacity at the state and local levels as well, so they too have an understanding."

He echoed Alexander Hamilton that such elections "cannot" and "should not be left up to the states."

"That’s why states were not allowed to put term limits on federal officials, so the elections were not solely conducted by the states," he explained. "That’s why the voting rights act was necessary and that’s why the fifth amendment to the constitution, why the 18th amendment to the constitution are necessary – all because it had to go beyond the states to determine."

I highly DOUBT Clyburn has ever bothered to READ the Constitution (If He Can Read at all).
If anyone takes time to listen to Clyburn...you'll soon be convinced...HE TOO has been attending the SLEEPY JOE BASEMENT HIDING AGENDA and DEPENDS CHANGING AREA.

Clyburn actually scares me, knowing he is ACTIVE in Congress...for any reason other than to take up a seat, and gather TAX PAYER DOLLARS for Intentionally Uneducated Experimental Ghetto Inhabitants Who Were Perpetual Victims Of Failed Educational Benefits From Uncle Sam.
