Interesting. Remains to be seen how the State court rules and how it affects other states. I tend to lean toward this is a practice that should be ended.

It won't affect the other states at all. SCOTUS has been pretty consistent in not jumping into gerrymandering cases. But I suppose I should add for the current times we live in... unless the other states get shamed into action.

The Dems are crying but I damned sure remember when THEY did it. Without batting an eyelash.

My interest as far as NC affecting other states is more along the lines of whether or not the Dems' tactics work, starting a domino effect. A ruling in their favor will embolden others.

Since SCOTUS kicked it back to the states, if it doesn't get past the Texas Supreme Court, I don't see it working here.
