Anybody in DC, or anywhere else for that matter, that doesn't believe China is at war with us whether or not we like the inconvenient truth of it needs to pull their heads out of their tailpipes.

The deadliest issue in the U.S.-China relationship right now isn’t the potential for military conflict over Taiwan, but the thousands of overdose deaths (https://www.cdc.gov/drugoverdose/deaths/index.html) in the U.S. each year from illicit fentanyl made from Chinese raw materials.
China’s reluctance to tighten controls on chemical production and exports has spurred a clash with U.S. legislators, and will be the focus of a long-awaited report this week on its role in fueling the flow of drugs that Mexican cartels process (https://www.politico.com/f/?id=0000017e-501d-d41e-afff-f85d531a0000) into synthetic opioid fentanyl.

Dems don’t want the open border connection to be discussed. Sgt. Schultz all the way. I’m glad this is going to finally be reported.

Mid last week a reporter stated that fentynal overdoses were #1 cause of death for people 18-49, (those parameters are from memory, but close). I went to check, yep. True.

Without question China, borders, and administration are connected, imo.

I have a friend whose young daughter OD’ed on heroin. She survived (barely), but she cannot do much of anything anymore. Her brain was ruined, and she cannot take care of her child now. It’s just awful and tragic, and the fact that anyone would put politics before trying to curb the entry of this into our country DISGUSTS me.
