They are saying some of it is abuses.

If someone should test positive or asymptomatic, they are basically taken into custody, placed in an ambulance and taken to a facility and quarantined. Apparently right now over 200 total athletes are quarantined. A US woman with her husband and child with down syndrome are quarantined - and she is separated from her child. Everyone must wear a mask almost at all times. Hockey players had to wear them during the game.

I just found out that not only will the Chinese listen in on all of their calls on their cell phones, also monitor texts. And just found out that they were all forced to install an app on their phones. Of course likely for more tracking.

Even when eating they are in cubicles with medical plastic all between them.

I wouldn't even had went. And if I did, once I saw all this BS I would quit and bail, dream or not. I'm not going to let someone abuse me or my rights so that I can participate.

People talk of boycotting, NBC, sponsors, etc. which may only harm those directly and not necessarily China who needs to feel the pain. I think the real harm that China could feel is the humiliation of a poorly run Games and the backlash of how bad they really are in other ways which almost seems to be backfiring of why they wanted to sponsor in the first place. That's my impression, or hope anyway.

Those supporting or participating with China do need to feel the pain, not just China.

Been more than a couple of accusations of hinky officiating as well. Not counting the questionable disqualifications. They disqualified half the downhill skiers over attire that up to that point had been fine in competition for years.

China nabbed at least 3 gold medals so far on DQs. No point in competing if China's already written in the score.

And ... our little turncoat figure skater that ran off to compete for China, and was PRC's" little darling, is getting a good taste of being turned on. Flopped in two events and they Chinese folk let her have it on weibo. Apparently her Chinese heritage got her on PRC's team, and her American blood caused her to fail and is a disgrace, yada, yada, yada.

Total farce.
