I'm just a survivor of the 1970s. I've spent the past 2 years -- and every government "impact" dollar (and more) -- shoring up what I'm hoping to not need to pay for for the next 10 years. Unexpected expenses are going to be killer for awhile. Already bad enough. When it comes out of the grocery money it's really no fun.

When the brakes finally get put on some heads are going through windshields. I've just been working on softening the blow :)

Yep. Why I wore the mask at work. Money for food & gas is a good thing.

Yep. Between the time you started this thread and now, I stood looking at an $8 tube of toothpaste. Absurd. Gas has gone up 30 cents since Thu when I bought it last.

Not looking good.
