Let's see if they're still protesting after it's over in a week.

True, a lot is going to depend on Ukrainian people once Putin seizes government. I hope the president seeks shelter, it's past the 11th hour.

Zelensky.Maybe last minute. He's ordered all males 16-60 into the army to stay and fight. You give an order like that, and you best be there to let them see you leading them. If the leader bugs out, rank and file tend to fall apart and follow. That was HUGE problem in Afghanistan.

He was on the street today, 'fighting for Ukraine.'

At same time, people need to have an alive leader.

NATO is moving troops to borders of NATO countries. They also have helicopters and other weapons, US and other member nations provided. Now, how to get them to Ukraine. NATO general expresses concern that Putin may hit one of Baltic members. Cites Putin's emotional driven decisions.

At same time, people need to have an alive leader.True. Balancing act. Our generals learned from the Civil War generals leading the charge was dumb. There's a fine line between bravery and foolhardy. Dead generals can't lead. Perfect example is Gen AS Johnson, CSA, at Shilo. He got all excited and ran out to lead the charge. You lose overall command and control of the field by entering one portion of it. The South lost the battle because he was shot dead and his 2nd in command was a stoic old goose.

Stay in the CP and coordinate command and control. The troops/people know who is in command and who is not. When the time comes, he has to bug out with the rest of the government.

I would also suggest he get at least as far away as UK or US -- out of Putin's reach. Otherwise, Putin can use Zelensky and his gov't-in-exile as an excuse. Matter of fact, none of the other countries should keep refugees at the border. Another excuse for Putin. He's not shy of making false claims.
