$3.75 here. In perspective, for here that's a lot. We did get up to $3.99 a week or so ago but no one wanted to be the one to bust that last penny in town. I'm sure it's at or over $4 out on the interstate.

I like the strategy :) Get people while they are staring at their money getting sucked into their gas tanks thinking it's all Biden's fault. For once, herd mentality is working against the Dems where Biden and oil are concerned. Usually, it's the other way around with the Dem's using ignorance and emotion against everyone else.

Jayapal is blaming corporate America but that's another convoluted, hollow talking point for regressives to rally around. In the end, oil companies, and the financial institutions that float the money, and shareholders are stuck playing with the hand government has dealt.

Corporate America didn't shut down Keystone, drilling on Federal land, and several almost or finally complete pipelines needing nothing but a permit. Nor did Corporate America take us from energy independent to begging Iran and Venezuela for oil.

Two ways dumb. Infrastructure really is underfunded and 6 months or year taxes will reappear. Double jolt whether prices are up or down.

It's as I said about Dems mulling a stay in Fed gas tax until Jan. Nothing more than pandering for votes with whatever's handy and appealing at the moment.

In the end, We, the People are going to pay for it. Overpaid Government isn't going to take a pay cut.
