Yep. Could easily compare the extremes of each party are perceived by the party to be the 'norm,' though there are signs of each party beginning to recognize the costs.

I actually understand hoe the Republicans got there better, Trump spoke to what many thought were the ills in government for a long time. To this day I don't get how the squad came to be a growing force, beyond social media.
