People with indigenous features are heavily discriminated against in much of Latin America. I don't have a link; it's just what I have observed. Rather than sue in a broken justice system, the pressure to leave becomes intense. I never saw BLM represent BROWN lives matter. I have never seen a BLM affiliate in Mexico or anywhere South of the border. With no hope in a discriminatory, but capitalist system the notion that socialism is the only path to get life's necessities takes root. That mentality gets imported when they arrive in the US.
