They still aren't looking into the overall picture though and ALL of the business dealings, and more specifically, whether the president himself profited. But at least it looks like more and more is getting investigated.
But of course, the Biden White House will not refuse to say they will pardon him.

House Oversight Committee Republicans Demands Access to Communication Records Between Hunter Biden and Obama White House – Biden Crime Family Has “Profited From Joe Biden’s Positions of Public Trust For Decades”
Things are starting to heat up around the Biden Crime Family’s criminal business enterprise.
This week, several Republican members of the House Oversight Committee sent a letter to the Biden Administration demanding access to any and all communication records between Hunter Biden and the Obama White House, following reports in mainstream media outlets last month that acknowledged the validity of the infamous ‘laptop from hell.’
The letter, which was sent on March 30th, called on Biden’s administration to uphold their promise of ‘transparency’ and provide the records now because his son’s illicit business dealings have become “especially relevant” in light of the current situation involving Russia and Ukraine.
The young Biden’s “dealings” have “not gone unnoticed,” the lawmakers make clear as they request the records from Obama’s White House that, they say, could include details on “a wide variety of potential violations and crimes.”
Hunter must be investigated now, according to the letter, because they are concerned that “he is continuing to profit off” trading on his father’s name, which is especially concerning considering “the big guy” is now the commander in chief.
The letter was signed by 14 GOP members, including the ranking member of House Oversight Reforms Rep. James Comer (KY) and Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ).

“Hunter Biden’s connections throughout the Russian sphere of influence have now become especially relevant in the fast-moving and developing Russian war in Ukraine.
Hunter Biden’s dealings have not gone unnoticed, and a Department of Justice (DOJ) probe begun under the Obama Administration has expanded to include a wide variety of potential violations and crimes. According to theNew York Times, Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by DOJ for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and possible criminal tax evasion and money laundering.
Given Hunter Biden’s foreign business relationships in Ukraine and Russia and the current international landscape, we are concerned about whether Hunter Biden continues to profit off his status as President Biden’s son as well as whether foreign adversaries may be attempting to exploit questionable business dealings. NARA may possess documents relevant to this investigation from then-Vice President Biden’s tenure.”
The letter continues and calls out Joe Biden specifically for lying about his involvement in Hunter’s shady business dealings, pointing out that “the evidence is now clear” that he wasn’t just aware, he was most likely an active participant in the scheme.
Something that’s even more troubling after Putin included Hunter in his list of personal sanctions, according to the GOP lawmakers.
