well, it's been a while....I passed the Michigan bar in 77, but I think it was a week....I know it wasn't more than two weeks....

also, if you passed the first multi-choice portion of the exam with a high enough grade, you didn't have to take the written portion....do they still do that?

hows the job market for graduates now days.....when I graduated I started at a salary slightly less than I was earning as a welder (one of the part time jobs I had to pay for law school)

well, word...

when I graduated I said to myself, who goes to court a lot, usually wins, and has the money to pay their bills....

I came up with landlords and developed a practice catering to everything landlords need from evictions to 1031 tax exchanges......thirty years now and haven't missed a deadline for paying a bill yet......

Congratulations Avi. Well done!

Ours felt like it was all summer. I had to work the whole time in a law frim, too, while others got to just study away. It was nerve-wracking, but it all worked out great. Do they still do the thing where if you score very highly on the multi-state, they don't bother to read your essay portion?

According to Ann, you're going to have an easy life:

In college, my roommate was in the chemistry lab Friday and Saturday nights while I was dancing on tables at the Chapter House. A few years later, she was working 20-hour days as a resident at Mount Sinai doing liver transplants while I was frequenting popular Upper East Side drinking establishments. She was going to Johns Hopkins for yet more medical training while I was skiing and following the Grateful Dead. Now she vacations in places like Rwanda and Darfur with Doctors Without Borders while I'm going to Paris.
