I like the "deadly force" part. I wonder how much leeway they have in using deadly force when compared to American citizens in some leftist states.

For which position?

Couldn’t tell you because the scumbags have taken down the entire jobs.irs.gov site now. If you go to irs.gov and click careers at the bottom the site is gone and comes back unreachable.

For which position?

Here is what you get now.

Probably because everyone who saw that screenshot is trying to figure it out. But the job descriptions I looked at earlier did not have the same job requirements.

For the same reason a portion of the Postal Service has jobs that require the use of firearms.

For the same reason a portion of the Postal Service has jobs that require the use of firearms. The postal service has more reason to go armed than the IRS. Postal employees carry around actual money and other negotiable stuff.

IRS has no reason/need to leave the office. Unless they're going bounty hunting. Or being hired to do more than what the Cesspool is stating.

It's not the postal carriers with that job description. I'm going to guess that the IRS legitimately has some positions that need those requirements. I remember a long time ago a colleague of sorts that worked for the FDIC and there were FDIC employees who carried guns; example being having to go to small farm town USA and take over a bank in the 80s.

"Criminal Investigation Special Agents"

Doesn't seem to far off. Criminals and all.

Here's something we all know, and was brought up a day or so ago: Most IRS "transactions" are through the mail or over the phone, targeting mostly people who make $50K or less, and they screw taxpayers over without ever getting up except to refresh the coffee.

This is nothing more than a shakedown operation against Mom n Pop who are going to lose whatever bennies they may have squeezed out of the DC turnip. We're going to be owned by Walmart and Amazon and Google because everyone else is going to be out of business.
