Someone ought to notify Putin he started a war. Moscow has whined and made threats every time it gets its ass kicked in a war it started. The fact that anyone, regardless intent, is negotiating with this guy at all goes completely against all rules of war.

"Let's carry on civil discourse with the genocidal asshole while he indiscriminately murders people and destroys infrastructure" doesn't cut it with me.

Maybe he counted on that.Of course he did. And more. He's doing the "pay no attention to that man behind the curtain" to the entire World with a straight face.

He has overplayed a nothing hand for high stakes and now bluffing while discarding 4.

Not just him though. The West, East and ME are still dealing with him on every other topic as if the elephant in the room isn't there. They are as much part of the problem as he is.
