It will be interesting to see how many are left in the Trump 'core.' Is it Trump or is it country?

Especially on the remaining loyal to a general who starts losing. I give Trump his due. At the same time, his current behavior has kept anything he accomplished in the shadows.

I never have understood the unquestioning loyalty to the man. I understand Sears' mentality. The mission is more important than the man.

Yeah. While I don't understand voters who, given the current situation in the country with gas prices, inflation, crime, education, etc, say "oh wait, that's trumps candidate. Fuck it then. Leave things the way they are; stay on the current path."

What is is. Tuesday was trumps Waterloo. He's been beaten. He's done.

He should bow out on Tuesday. He can even do it his own way. Say the system is rigged, he got screwed, whatever. Just be done and go home.

I agree it isn't about being disloyal to trump. It's about trying to stop the fungus as she said. Right now DeSantis offers the best chance at doing that and trump has no chance at doing it.

“Winsome Sears rode a wave of President Trump’s voters to election victory in 2021,” the statement said. “Her comments are a slap to the face to all of the grassroots Republicans that worked so hard to get her elected. They won’t forget this and there will be a reckoning. There always is in politics.”

That last line struck me as very ignorant to politics in general and if you, and "your" guy, and his other advisers are saying that then you don't really understand politics. It also speaks to the author's intent when he's trying to demonstrate allegiance to the "mission."
