Britain on Board for strikes against Iran (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/10/07/wiran207.xml)

Madeleine Albright says war with Iran cannot be taken off the table (http://www.ndtv.com/convergence/ndtv/story.aspx?id=NEWEN20070028586&ch=10/7/2007%209:10:00%20PM)

Three separate sources today.

I was watching Glenn Beck briefly, while Heroes was on commercial and they were discussing encursions into Iran against military facilities. I dont know any details about that. I could have misunderstood it. But it makes me wonder if Iran is really closer than some of us want to believe.

I dont think the President will put this off to the next adminstration. If he thinks we have to change Iran now he will do it while he still can.

Scary thing is Iran is a total wild card. I have no doubt our troops can do whatever we ask them, but i think the outcome is way up in the air with the amount of people here in the States that will undermine their actions.

Looks like some tough decisions are ahead.

The proof has been there all along concerning what iran is doing. It's finally being made public. Petreaus is prepping the media for things to come.

When the strike comes its going to have to be fast and hard and they will have to get ready for attacks from irans allies. Which include muslim brotherhood, islamic jihad, hizzbollah, hamas, al queda, syria, sudan and many others.

iran recently reopened 5 border crossings into iraq. That is for the purpose of moving more agents into iraq to continue to stir up problems there. They are working on getting long range missiles as well. Look for north korean technology to show up in iran as well.

It will be the next front in the long war.

We don't have the troops for a full scale war/regime change unless we take them out of Iraq. Airstrikes is all he could pull off and you have no proof Iran even has nukes.

Yep, the best defense is to strike them before they become a threat.

They make frequent raids over the border to try to capture American troops. It's not covered by the media. There have been a number of clashes along the border between iranian and iraqi troops. Again, not reported by the media. Sooner or later they are going to push too far and we will have the excuse we are looking for to go after them.

The US, Britain and France are all poised and waiting for the fuse to be lit. Iran holds the match.
