Conservatives and gun rights activists have taken to calling the category of legislation “constitutional carry,” even though no provisions in the Constitution explicitly allow for the right to carry concealed, unlicensed weapons. Gun safety and gun control activists, as well as neutral groups, prefer to label the category of legislation “permitless carry.”
Not sure what the "most states" line is all about when the article specifically targets Florida.
The quoted comment above is correct, even though its interpretation leaves much to be desired. There are no provisions in the Constitution that explicitly allow for the Right to carry concealed, unlicensed weapons. NBC's presumption doesn't mention that there are no provisions in the Constitution that say you can't.
There are no provisions at all in the Constitution regarding carry/concealment. NBC/the left's narrative would have the uneducated who rely on politicians and the MSM for the truth believe it does.
