Seems it has been for quite awhile now. Even here, a good 60+ miles from border, we experience the problems of the illegals. Police are forced to focus on drugs and gangs. Fentanyl arrests are near daily occurrence, in past year there's been at least 2 that broke previous records-in the city I live in. The gangs are more active than ever, growing presence of MS13. Counterfeit money is becoming more and more prevalent and it's impact on small businesses is devastating. Increasing numbers of non-English speaking students are taxing an already underfunded school system-I can't imagine what is happening closer to the border.
