If I recall correctly, wasn't it the fact that Nixon lied to the American people that turned public opinion against him WAY more than anyone gave a crap about him spying on a DNC that lost 49 states in the 72 election?
The President of the US lying to the people of the United States should be an impeachable crime, IMO.
