The Summer of 69 was quite eventful. Watched it all in living B&W :) Moonwalk. Manson.

Ted Kennedy drives off a bridge and runs away. Hiding from a DUI was more important then Mary Jo Kopechne's life. He sure paid for that negligent homicide, fleeing the scene of an accident, failure to render aid and DUI. Just like Hunter Biden will pay for his crimes and Joe will pay for his collusion and coverup.

I don't recall it getting much coverage around here. Just looked up the dates: Aug 16 -19th. Aug 8-10 was Tate-Labianca murders. I imagine the latter drowned out what "some hippies up North were doing" with the local media. :)
