I can't stand the OC, so maybe this is why I thought this SNL spoof was so funny.

Heres the OC clip--its short...but you have to watch it before you watch the SNL spoof to know what they're talking about:

Also, that's the only thing I've ever seen of The OC, but it's probably one of the shittiest bits of television I've ever seen, in many, many ways.

Yeah, it's great. I saw it when it was aired live, before I knew it was a parody of anything, and thought it was great.

Y'know, they really need to get some new writers at SNL. For the first time in a while, they have a very solid cast: Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, and Andy Samberg are all very talented, but the shows are still consistently unfunny. The only thing that's regularly funny is TV Funhouse, of course, and these Digital Shorts, which are pretty much produced by Samberg and Hader.

For those who don't know, the writing schedule at SNL is ridiculous, as it hasn't evolved from the very first few seasons, when everyone was coked up all the time and had no trouble regularly pulling all-night writing sessions. They need to change things up, they're doing the cast a real disservice.

As long as we're sharing funny SNL bits, here's another good one (that I think is a Digital Short, though I'm not certain, the first bit is definitely live):
