For the billionth time, THIS is at the top of the list for defunding, IMO. Want to find some money being thrown down the crapper? I'd put the screws to this bunch of bumbling, verbose, do-nothings we foot the majority of the bill for. How many billions of our tax dollars are wasted so this bunch of chimps can maintain a self-canceling position on the fence?

The U.N.’s official communications department amplified an attack on U.S. sanctions policy by a U.N. human-rights rapporteur (https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/a-u-n-human-rights-expert-speaks-to-a-genocide-denying-website/) who receives funding from China and Russia (https://www.nationalreview.com/2022/05/china-russia-contributed-funding-to-u-n-s-pro-dictator-rapporteur/), as U.S. concerns about Chinese influence at the U.N. grow.
This afternoon, the Twitter account of the U.N. News Service posted a statement by U.N. special rapporteur Alena Douhan condemning U.S. sanctions as violating human rights. “This is a clear violation of due process rights, including the presumption of innocence and fair trial,” she wrote in the statement shared by the account.
