Have to wonder how much the person making this Captain Obvious statement is being paid to do so. Current government is the risk to US National security:rolleyes:

Speaking to reporters on Monday, a high-ranking Pentagon official said the documents were "a very serious risk to national security and have the potential to spread disinformation"

Anyone besides me wondering how "spreading disinformation" can be a "very serious risk to national security"? As it relates to this topic. I have considered the possibility that the "leak" is a disinformation campaign by the US/NATO/Ukraine.

As stated elsewhere, taking this at face face value, the fact they have not identified the leak already given what are supposed to be protocols for the handling of classified material/information is the threat.

"The president and secretary [of defence] have both made clear that the United States is going to be with them for as long as it takes," he said.

Tell that to the kurds and afghans US Presidents have abandoned in the field:rolleyes:
