People choosing to be oppressed.The extraordinary lengths some will go attempting to justify their own perceived or real failures.

She has already admitted defeat. Going to great lengths to create this fantasy then have it published, rather than just admit she has a problem she doesn't like that it would take some intestinal fortitude to remedy.
