My wife and I are here on a lark. We originally planned to visit Banff, Alberta. My wife suggested since we have driven so far North, why don't we drive a little further until we get to Alaska. I smiled while restraining myself from busting out laughing and said sure. She didn't realize that "a little further" meant four days. We got a flat tire near a place aptly named Destruction Bay, Yukon. She found it a bit scary until I pointed out that getting stranded in Yukon is still a world safer than getting stranded in a place like Sinaloa, Mexico (cartel country). I'm still undecided on visiting Tuktoyuktuk on the Arctic Ocean. Is it worth paying $2.25 per litre for fuel and destroying a good set of Michelins on the shale chip gravel road North of Dawson City? My Mexico-compatible built Maxima is serving its purpose in the extreme North. I have no mechanical issues whatsoever.
