Stunning, arrogant, Freudian slip? About says it all.

They just see themselves as a second legislative body that has just as much power and weight to impose their political will on the country as Congress does,” Murphy told host Kasie Hunt.

They have far more power than Murphy implies that they do/ .. After all their job is to keep a check on the EXECUTIVE and the Legislative branches of government.
Myself I think Alito is right. --Tyr

They’re going to bend the law in order to impose their right-wing view of how the country should work on the rest of us,” Murphy added. “And it’s why we need to pass this common-sense ethics legislation to at least make sure we know that these guys aren’t in bed having their lifestyles paid for by conservative donors, as we have unfortunately seen in these latest revelations.”

haha. What a damn loon. This guy just described the socialist dem lifestyle and blames that on the justices. --Tyr

haha. What a damn loon. This guy just described the socialist dem lifestyle and blames that on the justices. --Tyrimo, he's incorrect. Congress may have passed the act that created the Supreme Court, but once created, it is a separate and equal branch.

The Court can in fact nullify anything Congress does unconstitutionally. The Dems are fine with legislating from the bench when they have the majority. This is nothing more than the usual spoiled grapes BS from Dems the same as when Trump was elected. They didn't get their way so they go on a relentless smear campaign/attack.

In collusion with the MSM. I mentioned months ago before any of this became an "issue" they were attacking the Court, sniping at Thomas on Page 3. Not too noticeable, but there.

They want a toe in the door. All it takes is to give them an inch and they'll turn it into a flea circus like they do everything else they touch.

I don't believe that's true. The Constitution created SCOTUS but has power in creating the lower courts.

The problem arises because some of the bodies that pre-date the Constitution were referred to as "Congress's". In fact, the Constitutional Convention created the Constitution and was ratified by the states. I guess numbnuts didn't want to google https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_drafting_and_ratification_of_the_Unite d_States_Constitution
