This is very interesting. I've been reading 'Ace of Spades' nearly as long as I've been at USB/DP. The language there can be raw and there's a lot of assuming the reader knows literally everything in the news about the topic under discussion. These are all undisclosed, unlimited campaign donations to Joe Biden — and of course no one bothers opening a case.
[That’s an interesting question, one that hadn’t occurred to me. It’s worth considering why the FEC hasn’t taken a closer look at this, too. It would certainly explain the sudden proliferation of these lawsuits better than the legal theories behind them. — Ed]
