Melissa Ehteridge seems to be pretty popular with people, but I've always thought that she can go a little bit overboard in her performances to the point where they just suck...

This was a big one she did at the Grammys while she was sick:

Do you think its too much? I couldn't tell if she was trying to sing a note or if she was purposely screaming her raspy voice into the microphone.

Considering Janis' voice was pretty raunchy to start with, I think she did a great job.

Yeah...maybe I just don't like Melissa Etheridges voice.

She looks like a wreck though. The title says "1970"...so she was probably dead within months or weeks of this filming.
