I'm trying to work up a tear. Anybody got an onion?

No idea yet who did it since IRI and its proxies aren't claiming credit. I'm not feeling the least bit bad for people hurt for honoring a POS, murderous thug.

I'm leaning to Iran doing it to heat up problems with big and little satans.

I'm leaning to Iran doing it to heat up problems with big and little satans.A distinct possibility. It isn't like the IRI would bat an eyelash at murdering a hundred people. Even its own.

I was right. ISIS claiming responsibility for suicide bombers:

Brings an intriguing question: Does Iran go after the remnants of ISIS now?

I think it an attempt to start another problem with Israel/US, but too obvious. Easier to take blame than admit collusion.

I'm in wait-n-see mode. Not real quick to call collusion yet. That would require knowing what's in the minds of some truly fickle, screwball people. And which way the wind is blowing today :)

Islamic State is radical sunni. Iran is shia. That division exists solely in opposition to one another. Nuanced by either being willing to call on the entire "Muslim World" in any and all actions against the West. While the US/West are the "Great Satan" and "Israel must be destroyed are the usual rhetoric come propaganda time, Iran has spent the past 50 years sowing the seeds of discontent and supporting proxy wars against sunni Arab states as much as it has Israel.

Time will tell if ISIS is a lone actor. So far, it appears so. They hate everyone and everyone hates/fears them.

I could even see Iran's hand in ISIS/terrorist attacks on Iranian political dissidents. Loyalists paying homage to state martyr to the cause? Not so much.
