Lots of things to play with here. One, we are an ally. Israel is not the 51st state. Ridiculous that the idiot in chief who will not secure our own border presume to tell a country a World away and under constant, direct threat how all the "two state solution" can still work.

Ideally, I agree. On paper, a two state solution is within the realm of possibility. In reality, so long as one of the two states favorite saying is "from the river to the sea", it isn't going to happen. Definitely not going to happen as long as Iran can pump money, manpower and materiel into Gaza and/or the region.

Public affairs-wise, Netanyahu is going to lose. There are people who think the poor, maligned terrorists who wage war against women and children are the victims.

America (either as part of the Quartet or Individually) has not been all that helpful in the Middle East or in regards to the Self-Defense effort against the four principle terrorist groups.

How Israel prosecutes the conflict against the four principal terrorist groups [Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)] can only be something they are comfortable. Israeli Security is not really something that America should attempt to influence unless they ask for it. America should be completely supportive of the Israeli effort to eradicate the threat to Israeli Sovereignty and provide positive re-enforcement.

Most Respectfully,
RDefinitely agree on both counts. IMO, the US is not only counterproductive to Israel's defense, but our own as well. We don't have to attack those idiots to not provide them with funds.
