It sounds like Iran sent non-ballistic cruise missiles-about 100 along with the drones. Slow moving as opposed to ballistic. US already shooting some down is being reported-over Jordan. Also it looks like Jordan is shooting some down too. Seems like it will be more of an attack for Iranian citizens consumption than serious threat to Israel-providing none make it to populated areas.

Iranian TV now saying that Iran has launched cruise missiles in 2nd wave.

Meanwhile Hezbollah and Houthis continue to send missiles over.

Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq have all closed their air spaces. They are certainly concerned of widening war.

CNN is saying now that the only reporting of cruise and/or ballistic missiles has been Iranian media. Iranian permanent account to UN has posted on X that they have 'concluded' their response. This is before anything has made it to Israel.

Hopefully this means that there will be a de-escalation following, though Israel is going to have to respond to direct attack from Iran.

Iran's U.N. Mission Says Military Action Concluded
By

Benoit Faucon

Iran's mission to the United Nations said that following the launch of the drones toward Israel, Tehran now considered that its retaliation for an attack on its diplomatic compound in Damascus to be ended.

"The matter can be deemed concluded," it said. "However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!"

Seems to be mostly over now. From reports it seems to have been hundreds of drones, high tens or hundred of cruise missiles, and some ballistic. From what I've seen reported 1 child hurt from falling debris.

Objects mostly downed by Israel, US, Jordan, and 'other allies' in region.

Israel is asking for emergency meeting of UN to condemn Iran.

Keep in mind that most in area do not like Iran, in fact fear and loath the state. They do have support though of Russia, China, and Turkey for the most part.

Waiting for the response. And the WH to turn tail and run from it. Joe was pretty clear ensuring his statement was "support the defense of Israel".

I'd play Iran's game: We'll respond. When we choose to.

Meantime, Iran better hope they were testing for defense and response and not showing their capability. If it was the latter, they suck:laugh:
