View Full Version : A Tiny But Noisy Minority

The terrorists in Beloit Heights, Beloit, and Hamtramck MI and elite university campuses are but a tiny number of those who might vote. OTOH is the rest of likely voters all over the US. Polls show that the overwhelming majority of US citizens back Israel and the destruction of Hamas-though of course they'd rather civilians weren't killed. Biden and his administration are now using Hamas provided numbers, which even the pro-Islamic UN recognizes are lies. How Biden thinks he can play both sides is beyond me.

Biden's Latest Attack on Israel May Be the WorstJAZZ SHAW 8:30 AM | May 11, 2024

On Friday, the Biden administration continued to try to eat its cake and have it also when it comes to Israel's war against Hamas. The White House has apparently been conducting an "investigation" into how Israel has been using the weapons that we sell them. They have reportedly concluded that Israel "likely" violated international humanitarian law while fighting in the Gaza Strip. But at the same time, the report was unable to immediately link any specific weapons to individual strikes where these supposed humanitarian laws may have been violated. This is yet another slap in the face to Israel and a blatant attempt to score political points with the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party and the anti-Israel protesters around the country. The Biden administration said Friday that Israel’s use of U.S.-provided weapons in Gaza likely violated international humanitarian law but wartime conditions prevented U.S. officials from determining that for certain in specific airstrikes.

The administration’s finding of “reasonable” evidence to conclude that its ally had breached international law in its conduct of the war in Gaza, released in a summary of a report being delivered to Congress on Friday, represents the strongest such statement from Biden officials.

But its caveat that it was unable immediately to link specific U.S. weapons to individual strikes by Israeli forces in Gaza could give the administration leeway in any future decision on whether to restrict U.S. provisions of offensive weapons to Israel.

This entire idea is preposterous and only feeds fuel and propaganda to the global forces aligned against Israel. Their country is engaged in a brutal war that they did not instigate. They purchase military weapons from us and have done so for many years. They were not buying the weapons for decorative purposes. Of course they are using them against Hamas military targets and installations. What did you think they were doing with them?

The AP was quick to toss in a figure suggesting that the fighting in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of "nearly 35,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children." But we all know where those figures are coming from. They are generated by the Gaza Ministry of Health which is run by Hamas and acts as far more of a propaganda shop than any sort of health agency.

The investigation that led to this report was neither routine nor mandatory. It was instigated back in February at the direction of the White House. Not coincidentally, that's when the college protests were really kicking into high gear. That's how long this betrayal has been in the works. And the "international laws" in question have nothing to do with our own normal rules of order and conduct during warfare. This is all globalist nonsense coming out of the illegitimate International Criminal Court and the United Nations.

None of this will impact Israel's strategy. Bibi Netanyahu has already said that his country "will fight with its fingernails" if it has to. But you can rest assured that he and his people have a long memory and will not soon forget this betrayal by the United States. I can only imagine that they are praying that Joe Biden is removed from office in the upcoming election and they will once again have a reliable ally in the United States.

None of these betrayals will save Joe Biden. This isn't an issue where you can have it both ways. You either stand with and support Israel or you don't. The people Biden is trying to please are a very small but noisy minority. They will not be satisfied with an investigation that changes nothing about our relationship with Israel nor any pause in weapons shipments. They are demanding an immediate "divestment" from Israel and for the Israelis to surrender to Hamas. Meanwhile, a vastly larger majority still support Israel and will be outraged by Biden's overtly political stunts that amount to a betrayal of our ally.
