don't you claim to be a recovering porn addict?

Why not find some subject other than sex to talk about?

I was watching CNN today and they were celebrating a young man in GA being released from jail because he was charged for having sex with a 15 year old girl that want to have sex with him when he was 17 and the GA Supreme Court had decided to let him out of jail... I was like, damned I could have went to jail...

IMSHO, no problem. My reason: kinda lame, but, still 'my' reason, I was raised that way and I 'did it.' Raised with in a family (broken, as I am sure some will point to as 'evidence') that sex was fairly open.

Also, I think 'marriage' can simply be a state created contract, oh wait, it is, most of the time. Now, I am not saying people don't marry 'under god' but, most (well some) marriages are paper and the only difference between a girlfriend and a wife is paper.

And the cost of breaking up. ;)

Sex is a sacred act. and should be done so in the sanctity of marriage.

I think sex before marriage, and outside of marriage and within marriage should be left to the negotiating parties to decide when and where and how to get it on :laugh2:

I agree with you because alot of people dont understand that sex is not just about the physical act, but emotional mental and spiritual side too.

I agree with you

the biological purpose of sex is to reproduce......

I enjoyed the heck out of it. The only thing I enjoyed more than pre-marital sex is post-marital sex.
If you didn't have it, it's because you couldn't get it. :)

A sexual relationship is what sets that relationship apart from all other relationships (friendships). It is to be shared inside the confines of marriage; an exclusive relationship that allows NO one else into that relationship; and that is not just sexually.

My Bible's definition of 'fornication' it is "criminal sex". I interpret that as having sex on a basis of just getting laid. When you go out, pick someone up & take them home. Or when you date someone for 6 months with the intent of never making this relationship permanent, so that you can move on to the next one when the flames of passion subside. Here again, it's your motive; what's in your heart.

When Mary became pregnant with Jesus, rather than publicly humiliate her, Joseph decided to send her quietly away. (against the advice of his friends; which also says A LOT about Joseph). It wasn't over the fact that she was pregnant, it was over the fact that she wasn't pregnant by him.

Today so many couple's live together before marriage. There is a difference when a couple does this to see if things are 'gonna work out' over the situation where a couple have already decided to marry and are just waiting for the wedding ceremony; the commitment has already been made; in their hearts. I believe that in this committed relationship, sex is okay.
Most minister's will not marry a couple if they are living together. They advise them to live apart for 6 months. I don't understand this reasoning. Like not living together is gonna keep them from this most fun & intimate act between lovers??? And there are many who have never lived together who engage in sex. To me, this is moot.
And statistics (for what they're worth) backs up that couples who live together without the marriage intent seldom marry. To me this is 'criminal sex'.

Today our society requires us to enter into a contract with that State as well as each other via a marriage license. There are still some that believe that this, in itself, is wrong & will not purchase said license. But then you are not legally married. But can you still be "in the eyes of God"?

There have been many ways people have gotten married over the centuries, from pouring milk into a bucket, to tying wrists together, etc. Marriage is a covenant, and a willingness to make that covenant public.
In this day & age when people are getting divorces when their marriage hits a slump, without a marriage license it would be that much easier for someone to just walk away.

That's a naive point of view. It's rather easy to get sex, and i dont mean by paying for it.

But just because you can get sex doesn't mean you should. There are more important things than sex. The other persons feelings. The committment. The affectts such a relationship would have socially. Because as much as people would like to pretend that sex is a private issue between two consenting adults, the fact is sex between two people effects society at large. All our actions effect the greater population. Especially those involving life. Its about time we stopped being selfish and started looking at those long term consequences. Because those consequences have destroyed many of our cities.
