Not trying to be difficult, but isn't that why threads are thrown there -- for people to bitch and whine a lot?
To fully serve its purpose, the Steel Cage should be unmoderated and unedited. Sort of a "Lion's Den" that poster enter at their own risk.
Perhaps that would cut down on some of the animosity present on the remainder of the board. If you want to bitch and whine, do it in the Steel Cage.
I got the idea from another message board. They have a "Lion's Den" forum. Personal attacks are not allowed anyplace else.
Just a suggestion. :)

We'll discuss amongst staff. We'll probably do that and allow things to continue longer as it keeps the crap out of the regular forums, and those that don't want to read it can just simply avoid that forum.

Sometimes threads are inappropriate though, and put in the wrong place and for the wrong reasons. Sort of like this being started in "announcements". :)
