I don't see a problem with this. The purpose of a debate is to ask the candidates difficult questions about relevant issues and get them to discuss them. Sounds like Hillary's campaign did that. What's the problem?

Hillary's planting of operatives in her own debate, to use up debate time asking softball questions, violated the purpose of the debate. Having people asking tough questions, did not. If candidates can't handle tough questions from Americans, how will they perform as President, dwealing with Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejihad, etc.?

Hillary plants question in Republican debate
Posted by: Jonathan Garthwaite at 10:41 PM

It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

UPDATE: In the final seconds of the post-debate coverage, Anderson Cooper acknowledges that CNN messed this up and states that CNN did not know that Kerr has a position within the Clinton campaign and that had they known, they would have disclosed the association.

And how in hell did the neo-neocon Grover Norquist get a YouTube interview in the debate?
