Imagine how odd it would look parked beside your low slung, aerodynamic Mazda. Night and day brother.

And I thought the Honda Element was an ugly car and nothing could be uglier then the Element. Toyota seems to be trying to outdo Honda again.

In answer to your question Pale... Hell No.

Because the auto makers have hired modern artists to design the new look of cars. They think that we want the boxy, coffin looking crap that they are producing because it looks "Cool". I think it looks like a garbage truck.

I can't wait for this fad to pass!

If they would make a midsize pick-up that was a hybrid, I would be the first in line. I would love to get the gas mileage.

It would be great for a Dell Webb Sun City retirement community but where would you strap down the clubs? The tires would have to be changed, no golf course is going to let you rut up the fairways with those skinny units.:laugh2:

aerodynamics would only hurt at high-speed. The light-weight would make it amazingly-fast. Think 911 turbo power:weight.

I just don't understand the thinking behind making it so God awful ugly. What's the point? Are they making an automotive fashion statement? :dunno:

Hmmm... when a stock Corvette does .9-g, and only with a tire upgrade 1.0-g, I kind of doubt that thing would do much over .5, no matter what you put on it for wheels and tires. It's just top heavy.

Fikse 18-inch aftermarket wheels were used all around with a 9.5-inch rim width in front and a 10.5-inch rim in back. With even a modest increase in section width (to P295/35ZR-18 size radials), the Z51- equipped Corvette jumped a significant 0.10-g in skid pad cornering tests - from 0.90-g to over 1.00-g.
